Job Description
Hydrogeological Engineer responsible for managing drainage and depressurization, providing regular information to the mine plan, and executing water resource projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering or related fields
- Master's degree in Hydrogeology or Groundwater Modeling, preferred
- Training in water management, planning, execution, and reconciliation, preferred
- 5 years of experience in hydrogeology in an operational environment for large open-pit mines
- Experience as a Geotechnical Engineer, preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English advanced, preferred)
- Experience in design and interpretation of plans
- Knowledge of software: HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS, Autocad, acQuire (database), Maptek Vulcan, Surfer, QGIS, Power BI, Microsoft Project, GoldSim, GeoSlope (Seep/W)
