Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Insurance and Risk Management Manager to administer commercial insurance policies, manage risk and safety programs, and advise employees on insurance matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, legal, insurance analytics, commerce, risk management, or a related field
- A minimum of five years experience in a multi-site healthcare organization insurance and risk management program
- Proficiency using Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) or similar risk management or claims tracking systems
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and administration as well as experience working with insurance brokers, carriers, and adjusters
- Experience with legal reporting, legislative rulings and case law as it relates to claims and insurance
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint SharePoint, HER and Visio as well as online/Internet-based research tools
