Job Description
AppleGate Recovery is seeking a Licensed Counselor to provide support and assistance to patients enrolled in Medication Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder. The counselor will help patients develop individualized coping techniques and symptom management skills to experience improved quality of life.
Requirements
- Must hold an LCADC, CADC, LCSW, CSW, LMFT, LMFTA, LPCC, or LPCA in the state of Tennessee
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals
- Positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward patient population
- Ability to collaborate with counseling team members
- Knowledge of local community drug trends, signs and symptoms of narcotic overdose, and addiction treatment
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
