Bechtel is seeking a Site Manager to manage the organization and direction of project construction activities for advanced manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's or master's degree and 13-15 years of relevant experience, with a focus on large-scale EPC projects and semiconductor, EV battery, or data center industries.
Requirements
- Manage the organization and direction of project construction activities
- Oversee total site management, including supervision of construction craft personnel, field engineering, contract administration, cost and schedule, field supply chain, finance and accounting services, and craft resource personnel as applicable
- Coordinate all project contractual activities and participate in the development of contract, subcontract, or vendor scopes of work, budgets, contract formation, and negotiations
- Maintain client relationships and be the primary contact for client communication with the field activities and effective relations with other functional departments
- Direct the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receive progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities
- Direct overall project safety programs and ensure strict adherence to local & national regulatory safety codes
- Oversee jobsite expenditures for labor equipment, material and services and ensure field operations are within the budget
- Establish project field procedures and objectives within corporate policies and procedures as necessitated by conditions at a jobsite
