Reliability Engineer

BENTELER Steel/Tube is seeking a Reliability Engineer to assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Reliability Centered Maintenance strategy. The role involves identifying and resolving reliability issues, improving plant reliability, and contributing to risk management and capital project activities. This position requires strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Assist in the development and implementation of a comprehensive Reliability Centered Maintenance strategy.
• Identify and assist in the implementation of best practices related to reliability improvements.
• Guide efforts to ensure reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety/security systems.
• Apply appropriate reliability tools to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve asset effectiveness.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for proactive identification and resolution of reliability issues.
• Track production losses and abnormally high maintenance cost assets to find ways to reduce those losses or high costs.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCFAs) and corrective actions for complex and/or repetitive problems.
• Improve overall plant reliability through PM effectiveness tracking and PM process improvements.
