Job Description
BETA is seeking an experienced Highway Project Engineer to join their team. The role involves highway design, contract planning, project mentoring, and client collaboration. This position is crucial for highway development, compliance, and business development across various service areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) License
- 5 to 10 years of related engineering experience in highway design, stormwater management, ADA compliance, and roadway construction practices
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microstation OpenRoads Designer
- Experience with MUTCD, AASHTO, MassDOT design requirements
- Ability to collect field data and perform asset inspections
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift/move objects up to 40 pounds
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (hot and cold)
- Ability to stand for long periods
