Job Description
BETA is seeking an experienced Highway Project Engineer to join their team. The role involves highway design, contract document preparation, mentoring junior staff, and collaboration with multiple client parties. This position offers growth opportunities within the company and provides an opportunity to contribute to the successful development of transportation projects.
Requirements
- Provide technical assistance and manage technical aspects of highway projects
- Perform detailed engineering tasks, including design and contract document preparation
- Oversee and manage multiple projects
- Present project findings and client meetings
- Work with multiple municipalities and agency clients
- Collect field data and perform asset inspections
- Lift/move objects up to 40 pounds
- Perform field work in both hot and cold weather
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
