Compliance Officer El Salvador

Compliance Officer will help lead compliance duties in El Salvador to ensure company operations are legal and ethical. Develop compliance programs, review policies, advise management on risks, and respond to authorities’ inquiries.

Requirements

• Develop, implement and manage an organization's compliance program
• Prepare policies for identification and knowledge of the Client (KYC)
• Verify company compliance with regulatory requirements
• Define criteria, measures and procedures to comply with regulations
• Develop and review company policies
• Coordinate with regulators audits and requirements
• Plan, implement and oversee risk-related programs
• Regular audits to identify possible weaknesses or risks
• Create and coordinate proper reporting channels for compliance issues
• Develop company compliance communications
• Coordinate and schedule required compliance training for employees
• Implement and manage an effective compliance program
• Create and manage effective action plans in response to audit discoveries
• Resolve employee concerns about compliance
• Determine compliance metrics and tracking them
• Revise, provide insightful inputs and sign off on new financial products to ensure it is compliance with local regulation
• Perform compliance audits to determine whether established protocols are being followed and where they can be improved
• Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities
• Monitor activities of customers transactions
• Coordinate the follow-up activities of Operations and the investigations to be carried out at the institutional level
