Fund Accounting, Private Financing Solutions, Associate

Fund Accounting Associate is responsible for review and reconciliation of the funds' books and records, liaising with internal departments and external third-party fund administrators, and reporting to a Vice President in the Fund Accounting department. The Fund Accounting Analyst will be involved in the closing of the books, fund setup, and ad hoc internal and investor requests.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of combined experience in a Fund Accounting role, and/or public accounting role supporting clients within the financial services industry
• Big four public accounting experience preferred
• Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to continuously learn
• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to consistently be attentive to detail while meeting critical deadlines and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills
• Thorough knowledge of internal controls
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and maintain high levels of accuracy
