Job Description
Join Blue Origin as a Structural Analyst III to support the development and operations of the New Glenn launch vehicle, responsible for analysis of primary and secondary tank structures, and providing technical guidance to design engineers and junior structural analysts. The role requires a strong understanding of structural analysis and load path, with a passion for safe human spaceflight.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
- 5+ years of structural analysis experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of vehicle load path and stress analysis of metallic and/or composite structures
- Familiarity with classical aerospace sizing methods
- Experience with at least two of the following analysis codes: Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Optistruct, NASGRO
- Scripting languages such as VBA, Matlab, Python, FORTRAN
