Technical Designer/Drafter III – New Glenn Second Stage

Join Blue Origin's team of problem solvers as we develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems. This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle.

Requirements

• Prepare/evolve design layouts, create and maintain detail part and assembly drawings using CAD and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
• Review engineering drawing and designs to ensure alignment to established specifications and standards.
• Support engineering teams in the development of mechanical layout and detail design and drawings for structural, mechanical, fluids, and electronic detail parts and assemblies.
• Apply relevant company (design, drafting, parts) techniques to plan, layout, and maintain data depicting engineering designs (detail, assembly and installation drawings or datasets).
• Implementation of engineering and manufacturing standard methodologies to achieve a balanced approach to cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
