Job Description
Blue Origin is seeking a Technical Designer I to support the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle. The Technical Designer will develop, maintain, and submit for release engineering drawings, systems designs, and/or engineering documentation and data. The role requires extensive experience with ProEngineer/Creo, knowledge of ASME B31.1 and B31.3, and experience in design and analysis of piping/tubing systems.
Requirements
- Perform design and maintenance of fluid components & system definition
- Coordinate fabrication, installation, and commissioning of new or modified systems
- Apply Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly
- Experience creating fabrication and installation drawings using ProE/Creo
- Extensive experience with ProEngineer /Creo with Windchill
