BlueLinx is seeking a driven Outside Sales Representative ā National Retail to manage existing national retail relationships while aggressively growing new revenue within the region.
Requirements
- Identify new sales opportunities with both new and existing national retail customers, with a focus on program business.
- Maximize sales effectiveness by prioritizing time and effort on the largest and most profitable opportunities, including segmentation of account lists.
- Improve overall profitability, product penetration, and product mix across assigned accounts.
- Qualify sales opportunities through market and customer research and collaboration with insider sales partners.
- Develop sales solutions and competitive pricing strategies; articulate value propositions to customers.
- Present and propose sales solutions to customers and adjust strategies as needed based on customer feedback and market conditions.
- Close sales opportunities by securing purchase orders and ensuring all order fulfillment procedures are executed accurately.
- Provide outstanding postāsale service and support to ensure longāterm customer satisfaction and repeat business.
