The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Mid-Level Systems Administrator to join the team in Berkeley, MO. In this role, you will be an integral part of the Training Systems team developing hardware and software solutions for our defense customers.
Requirements
- Use Agile frameworks to prioritize and track work needing to be performed
- Provide support for various applications and utilize patch management tools to maintain security compliance
- Setup and configure Active Directory (AD) domains using Windows Server software
- Build and maintain VMware virtual computer environments
- Configure systems to Joint Special Access Program Implementation Guide (JSIG) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) security compliance
- Work closely with security to safeguard environments and propose changes to policy or processes
- Evaluate and effectively communicate complex system problems and resolution
- Monitor and improve system performance and service management
- Interact with Information Technology (IT) Business Partners, Cybersecurity, Programs and IT management on significant technical, security, and operational matters
- Provide comprehensive end-to-end computing support in closed environments from desktops to servers
- Administer user system access by implementing safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements
- Install, configure, and maintain multi-platform systems hardware, software and components
- Perform the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework or Agile Methodologies
- Experience with hands-on support with IT Hardware such as setting up, configuring, modifying and troubleshooting switches, routers, network equipment, high performance computing equipment, server racks
- Experience with MS Windows server (2012, 2016, 2019, 2022) administration on physical and Virtual Machine Ware (VMWare) virtual servers
- Experience with Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems
- Experience with active directory (AD) to include applying domain group policies
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering support for Unix/Linux (Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/Oracle) server/workstation
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or Cloud environments
