Job Description
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to work with the Family Team to ensure access to high-quality healthcare for families and youth experiencing homelessness. The CMA will perform medical and clinical support in both administrative and clinical areas, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary clinic team.
Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification from one of the following organizations: AAMA, AMT, NCCT, AMCA, NHA, NAHP, or NPCE
- 1+ year of previous Medical Assistant experience in a Physician's office (preferred)
- Certification program with documented training in immunization administration
- Life support training certification (e.g. CPR, BLS, ACLS)
- Administrative experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish or Haitian Creole preferred
