Job Description
Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program is seeking a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide comprehensive primary and episodic care to patients experiencing homelessness at the Barbara McInnis House. The position offers a $4,000 sign on bonus and competitive compensation and benefits.
Requirements
- Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Registered or eligible to be registered with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency
- At least one year of direct NP/PA experience required
- Experience in working with underserved populations, mentally ill, homeless and/or persons with substance use disorders preferred
- Life support training certification (e.g. CPR, BLS, ACLS) from a course that includes a hands-on, in-person component
