Support Worker

Support Worker job description: Providing a supportive home environment to residents with learning disabilities, supporting daily living skills and pursuing valued lifestyles. Working with residents and their families/carers to increase independence.

Requirements

• A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care (ideal but not essential)
• Valid training in Manual Handling, First Aid, Epilepsy, and Safeguarding Adults (highly desirable)
• Experience of working with learning disabilities in day or residential services
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, uses initiative, and takes responsibility
