Assistant Director, Facilities and Maintenance, Transitional Housing

We are seeking an Assistant Director, Facilities and Maintenance, Transitional Housing to oversee all building maintenance and housekeeping services for our South Strand location in Manhattan. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing standard operating procedures, building maintenance, and ensuring compliance with city and state building regulations.

Requirements

• Ensure appropriate housekeeping staff levels at assigned transitional housing site and janitorial supplies
• Manage Facility Maintenance Supervisors
• Oversee preventative maintenance schedules, conduct weekly walkthroughs of the transitional housing sites, and complete routine audits
• Work with transitional housing Program Director to address any systemic or recurring facility issues
• Liaise with Breaking Ground's Property Management and Asset Management teams to ensure completion of maintenance and repair projects
• Provide on call coverage for overnight and weekends
