Job Description
The Beertender is primarily responsible for providing friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive service to guests at the bar, describing, selling, and pouring brews, and serving as an “expert” on Ketch Brewing and the Portside Pier property.
Requirements
- Must be of legal age to pour and serve alcohol.
- Minimum 1 year restaurant experience.
- Friendly, energetic, detail-oriented team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment!
- A desire to help where needed and work as part of a team.
- Ability to work positively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire bar area and service wells.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Exhibit a professional appearance and mannerisms.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and wipe for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to carry trays and supplies (up to 50 lbs.).
- Food Handler Certification.
- Responsible Alcohol Service Certification.
