Job Description
The Fish Market is seeking a Host to ensure a positive guest experience by providing excellent service, managing restaurant flow, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. This role involves greeting guests, assisting with reservations and seating, and addressing guest needs. The host is expected to contribute to the overall success of the restaurant and team.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months experience hosting in a full-service restaurant (OpenTable experience a plus!)
- Desire to help out where needed and work as part of a team
- Passion for providing extraordinary service
- Upbeat, outgoing, and positive demeanor
- Great guest relations skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand/walk and focus for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and wipe
