The Insurance Data & File Consultant will work with internal and external partners to provide Life and Annuity industry data file support for Brighthouseâs distributor and vendor partners. The role will oversee projects from an Industry Automation perspective, working with internal and external partners to solicit feedback, gather requirements, and ensure requirements are translated, designed, and deployed as expected.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the insurance industry
- Knowledge of life and annuity products, with a focus on new business and post-issue processes
- Preferred 2 years of experience with business requirement development, user acceptance testing, and project management skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with industry-standard testing and issue-tracking tools, including JIRA or similar
- Experience with annuity and life industry files utilized by vendors such as DTCC and DST
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including oral and written communications, relationship building, collaboration, influencing, negotiation, and conflict mediation
- Analytical capabilities and business judgment
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills
