IP Paralegal I

IP Paralegal I will work with US and foreign patent procedures, monitor patent cases, and prepare legal documents for submission to the USPTO. Knowledge of the USPTO Patent Center filing system and IP Management Software is required.

Requirements

• Knowledge of US and foreign patent procedures
• Monitors progress of patent cases and patent attorney/agent dockets
• Reviews patent application files for compliance with USPTO requirements and BMS department standards
• Knowledge and working experience of the USPTO Patent Center filing system
• Excellent organizational and accountability skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
