Job Description
Brodson Construction is seeking a skilled Estimator to prepare cost estimates for commercial projects based on construction plans and specifications. This role involves analyzing plans and creating scope of work for precise cost breakdowns, collaborating with subcontractors and vendors, and presenting well-supported estimates. Requirements
- Analyze drawings and specifications
- Create job-specific subcontractor and vendor lists
- Combine material, production, shipping, and other costs
- Communicate with customers regarding RFI’s and clarifications
- Review offers and quotes by vendors
- Manage all levels of take-offs while applying unit prices
- Collaborate with others on the preconstruction team
