Dispatch Supervisor

Buckland is looking for a Dispatcher Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of ILDS and provide leadership to the dispatch teams and driving teams. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, optimizing service levels, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• Provide dispatching services with exceptional customer service
• Organize and schedule driver runs to optimize service levels, fleet utilization, and operational profitability
• Maintain consistent communication with drivers to ensure smooth execution of delivery schedules
• Process and organize documentation including billing, invoicing, and customs documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulations
• Coordinate with maintenance providers to ensure vehicles remain safe and operational
• Resolve operational disruptions, delays, and service issues
• Supervise, coach, and support dispatchers and drivers
• Conduct performance evaluations and regular performance check-ins for direct reports
• Assign tasks to team members and align staff on operational priorities and safety expectations
• Support recruitment, interviewing, and selection of employees
• Monitor work volumes of direct reports and supervise team members
