Job Description
Builders FirstSource is looking for a Product Sales Specialist to manage sales, supply chain, and sales support activities related to an assigned product or product line. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Management and 5 years of product sales experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Management or related field
- Five (5) years product sales experience
- Working knowledge of business-to-business selling
- Advanced knowledge of products or product lines
- Strong knowledge of construction industry
- High level of self-motivation
- Ability to think strategically, forecast and drive sales
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent presentation, negotiating, and influencing skills
- Ability to use tact and skill in dealing with other staff, management and vendors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and an enterprise resource planning (ERP) program
