Job Description
The Domestic Violence Shelter Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and works to ensure the safety and health of Sister Me Home, BF Domestic Violence Safe House, including all residents and staff that work at the site. This position will provide ongoing support and supervision of the daily operations and service delivery to Safe House staff in serving the needs of survivors of domestic violence.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent clinical program management experience
- Minimum of four years working with issues of Domestic Violence
- Two-three years' experience in homelessness, substance abuse, mental health, and child abuse
- Knowledge of Domestic Violence dynamics & Alameda County resources for domestic violence and homeless and other underserved populations
- Supervising staff/ Project management/Organizational management/Communication/ Conflict-management skills
