Job Description
BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Network Voice Engineer to join their forward-thinking IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate is self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working in a large manufacturing setting where reliability and precision are essential. The role will support and enhance enterprise network voice systems, with a primary focus on the Lynchburg Mt. Athos facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of professional voice experience and at least 3 years of overall IT experience
- Experience with MS Teams voice/video or Cisco CUCM/Webex, plus conference room support
- Working knowledge of voice technologies (SIP, PRI, POTS, Gateways, Softphones, Fax)
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and take on increasingly complex challenges
- Experience supporting multi-site environments and end users/help desk
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a manufacturing environment
