BWXT Canada Ltd. is seeking a Senior Welding Engineer to join their team in Cambridge, ON. The ideal candidate will develop welding processes, ensure quality standards, lead complex engineering projects, and implement innovative production welding applications in support of growth opportunities within the nuclear industry.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Professional Designation: P.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical/Materials Engineering or a related discipline
- A minimum of 10 years in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience interfacing with regulatory agencies and codes
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with proven leadership experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with preferred experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Familiarity with CSA machine guarding, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) tools
