The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting produce to ensure quality and food safety standards are met. This includes conducting inspections, collecting product samples, and monitoring production staff for compliance with Food Safety guidelines and customer specifications.
Requirements
- Enforce the QA program through communication with production personnel
- Problem solving & trouble shooting of product quality issues
- Conduct inspections of raw & finished product
- Collect product samples for microbiological testing
- Assist in checking and filing paperwork on all loads arriving with refer-unit alarms or temperature issues
- Monitoring production staff and surroundings for GMP & HACCP compliance
- Data entry, record keeping & completion of QA forms
- Conduct cut specifications and prepare KPI reports for specialized customers
- Responsible for compliance with all Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
