CNC Lead - 2nd Shift

Cadrex is searching for a CNC Department Lead who is responsible for leadership, direction, and motivation of assigned employees to achieve company goals of quality, production, safety, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Develops and executes plans to meet or exceed department and company goals of quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Manages department performance measures and visual controls.
• Oversees CNC department staff to verify 'best practices' are being followed.
• Ensures that employees adhere to schedules and customer service requirements.
• Monitors attendance and timekeeping reports and addresses issues as needed.
• Develops specifications from general description and utilizes CAD/CAM software to produce required product.
• Confers with engineers, production personnel, or others to resolve fabrication or assembly problems.
• Selects holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials to meet production specification.
• Determines material and all tooling necessary for subsequent fabrication.
• Works directly with production and engineering to layout process required to manufacture parts and/or assemble.
