Job Description
CAE is seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their team in support of the MQ-9B SkyGuardian Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (RPAS) program. The successful candidate will maintain the MQ-9B Remotely Piloted Aircraft alongside members of the RCAF at the Air Maintenance Detachment East, in Greenwood, Nova Scotia.
Requirements
- Inspect, maintain, repair, and test aircraft systems
- Remove and replace line replaceable units and components
- Ensure the accurate completion of technical records
- Deploy to remote and/or international locations for extended periods of time
- Perform specialty work in maintenance shops as required
- Interpret technical publications and diagrams
- Maintain tools and equipment required to perform primary duties
- Order aircraft spare parts and materials
- Conduct flight line servicing operations
- Debrief Team Lead as required
- Carry out workplace inspections and clean ups
- Comply with safety, quality, airworthiness, and technical policies and procedures
- Work shifts on a routine basis and overtime when needed
- Travel for essential training
