Systems Administrator

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of ICT systems in a mission-critical environment.

Requirements

• Technical Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and Defence ICT security compliance
• Experience with patch management and system hardening processes
• Skilled in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
• Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
• Competence in backup and disaster recovery planning
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT)
• Professional certifications such as: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and user training
• Ability to work independently and in team environments under strict security protocols
