The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of ICT systems in a mission-critical environment.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and Defence ICT security compliance
- Experience with patch management and system hardening processes
- Skilled in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
- Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Competence in backup and disaster recovery planning
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (IT)
- Professional certifications such as: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and user training
- Ability to work independently and in team environments under strict security protocols
