The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of ICT systems in a mission-critical environment.
Requirements
- Technical Expertise in managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity principles and Defence ICT security compliance.
- Experience with patch management and system hardening processes.
- Skilled in system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
- Ability to manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Competence in backup and disaster recovery planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology (IT).
- Professional certifications such as: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration and user training.
- Ability to work independently and in team environments under strict security protocols.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator.
