Contract Technical Business Analyst

CALSTART is seeking a Contract Technical Business Analyst for a 6-month contract position with the possibility to extend or convert to full-time. The role involves translating complex program policies and business needs into clear, testable software requirements for multiple program teams using Salesforce and related tools.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst supporting software delivery in an SDLC environment
• Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder interviewing and translating ambiguous asks into clear, testable requirements
• Strong experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements that reduce delivery rework
• Strong process mapping skills (current/future state) and ability to translate process into system behavior
• Salesforce ecosystem experience (Sales/Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud), including understanding of objects/data concepts and automation constraints
• Experience collaborating with Salesforce admins/developers and/or external vendors to deliver solutions
• Proficiency with Jira (or similar) and strong documentation practices (Confluence or similar)
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
