Job Description
CampusWorks is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead strategic and tactical technology activities and systems onsite at Kilgore College in Kilgore, TX. The CIO will align IT strategy with institutional goals, leverage technology for innovation and efficiency, and develop broad relationships with the campus community.
Requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with institution’s leadership team, senior management, business, and academic units
- Lead IT planning and alignment by developing and executing a comprehensive IT Strategic Plan
- Stay current on the latest IT trends and best practices
- Ensure IT initiatives, projects, and funding are approved and prioritized
- Provide leadership and management with regard to vendor negotiations, vendor partnerships, and delivery
- Develop and recommend information technology policies
- Lead an IT team of approximately 10 individuals
- Lead the security and integrity of all IT systems and data
- Research and evaluate new technologies
