Job Description
Join the Granville Island team in the Building Operator position. The Building Operator is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and repair of the entire Granville Island site, encompassing 38 acres and 40 buildings. This includes ground works, utility services, building systems, and all related equipment.
Requirements
- A post-secondary trade certification in at least one specialized area within the building trades.
- A minimum of 5 years of equivalent work experience in building maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the key areas of plumbing repairs, HVAC operations and controls and electrical troubleshooting.
- Organizational, coaching and communication skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
