Job Description
This junior Marine Engineer role supports the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Detachment Far East at Naval Base Guam. The position involves maintaining and operating vessel equipment such as RSC and MPC, assisting the Chief Engineer, ensuring ship readiness, and documenting system parameters. Opportunity for growth and certification to become a Chief Engineer is available if the role is suitable.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard MMC with a Wiper endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in maritime industry with marine diesel engines and auxiliary systems.
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds (lbs).
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and obtain a Medical Condition Certification.
- Current Driver’s License required.
