CARDINAL POINT CAPTAINS INC is a maritime services contractor that provides specialized marine electrical, engineering, and deck operations support to the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Missile Range Facility in Guam. The company operates range support craft, multi‑purpose vessels, and high‑speed maneuverable targets, delivering maintenance, navigation, and mission‑readiness services for naval missile and torpedo range operations.
Open Positions
Mate (First or Second)
USCG license. Research vessel experience is preferred. Must be able to work collegiably and have valid driver's license and passport
Captain (Master)
Master’s license required; experience as a Master. Must be able to work collegially and pass background check. Valid passport and driver’s license
Assistant Engineer
Must be assistant/chief engineer for propulsion systems. Requires maintenance, inspection & safety adherence. Inventory & documentation skills needed
Marine Electrician
Must have a QMED endorsement and 5+ years experience as a marine electrician. Experience in commercial ship electrical installation and aboard vessel electrical systems is required. Must pass a drug and background check
Steward Assistant
High school degree preferred. Detail-oriented and enthusiastic. Basic cleaning & laundry skills are desired
Boat Captain / Engineering Technician 4
High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school training or 2-4 years experience required. U.S. Citizenship and DoD Secret Clearance are prerequisites
R/V Lake Guardian Crew
Specific qualifications apply. Other duties may change. AAP/EEO Statement is required
General Application
Experience in maritime support services. Must have an AAP/EEO statement
Vessel Cook
Prepare meals for ship crew and passengers. Maintain inventory and budget. Knowledge of food safety and handling required
Small Boat Captain - Part Time
100-Ton Master License, 2+ years on NOAA vessels, and experience directing operations. Must pass NOAA component course and be familiar with boat maintenance
