Job Description
This position is for a Senior Marine Engineer (Chief Engineer) to support the U.S. Navy’s Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) Detachment Far East at Naval Base Guam. The role involves maintaining and operating the vessel's propulsion and auxiliary engineering systems, overseeing maintenance and documentation, and ensuring readiness for operational tasks. The position requires regular travel to Apra Harbor, Guam.
Requirements
- Valid U.S. Coast Guard MMC with appropriate endorsement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified engineer working on ships.
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
- U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance.
- Current Driver’s License with insurance.
- Pass pre-employment physical and background checks.
