Job Description
The role purpose is to provide support to service users in line with the organisation’s aim to provide a high quality, reliable support service tailored to suit each of our service users individual support plans or personal care plans and contribute to the safeguarding of those receiving care whilst respecting their rights to be autonomous in their decision making.
Requirements
- Care Support: Deliver planned and allocated care in a flexible manner, across a variety of health and social care settings as directed by a senior member of the team.
- Safety and Governance: Adhere to and promote high standards of infection prevention and control at all times, promote all health, safety and security measures within a services user’s home environment and/or other working areas.
- Financial Awareness: Demonstrate awareness of costs in terms of supplies, equipment and anything within a service user own home requiring use to deliver care.
- Learning and Development: Demonstrate commitment to achieve a vocational portfolio of evidence to develop Support Worker/HCA knowledge, skills and qualifications.
