Sales Development Representative - Private Equity

Carta is looking for a Sales Development Representative to support private equity pipeline development by sourcing qualified leads within the PE sector. The role involves seeking out and qualifying leads, becoming an expert on Carta's core product suit and fundamental private equity principles, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure top of funnel acquisition.

• An Interest in Private Equity and the operations of a portfolio company
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience in finance or private equity and/or track record of success in a lead generation role is a plus
• Ability to break down and effectively communicate complex topics
• Experience managing spreadsheets on Excel, Google Sheets, or similar productivity software tooling
