Assistant Director of Nursing ADON

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) will provide assistance to the Director of Nursing in monitoring administrative and functional areas within the nursing service department, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. The ADON will assist with developing policies, recruiting staff, and evaluating nursing staff performance.

Requirements

• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Hold/handle, Lift, Carry, Reach – at and below shoulder height, Push/pull, Grasp and handle – pens, paperwork and small equipment, Sit, stand and walk, Twist, bend, stoop, kneel and squat, Fine hand motor coordination
• COGNITIVE AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Talking: Communicating with residents, families, physicians, visitors and staff, Hearing: Taking instructions from the Director of Nursing
