Job Description
Human Resources Business Partner for Fashion and Fragrance & Beauty retail teams in Western Canada. Key responsibilities include HR partnership initiatives, talent attraction, engagement, onboarding, learning and development, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in HR, strong knowledge of Canadian labour laws, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar HR role
- Bilingual: English & Mandarin, spoken and written
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labour laws and proven independant judgement and decision-making on sensitive matters
- Advanced knowledge of the people side of the job market in Western Canada
- Proven experience and comfortable in a coach-like role
- Relevant experience in recruitment and/or talent acquisition
- A working knowledge of an HRIS, ideally Workday
- A collaborative approach to driving projects forward
- A comfort with influence without control
- Resilient positivity and energy
- A genuine passion for discovery through listening
- An ability to blend the People & Retailing perspectives
- A working knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to effectively manage volume and niche searches, often simultaneously
