Job Description
The Center for AI Safety is seeking a Research Engineer to work at the intersection of cutting-edge ML research and reliable engineering, designing and running experiments on large language models, and collaborating with CAIS researchers and external partners.
Requirements
- PhD student or researcher in machine learning or a related field
- Co-authored at least one paper published at a top ML conference venue
- Track record of empirical research in AI or ML, particularly in AI safety-relevant areas
- Familiar with relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., PyTorch)
- Good communication skills
