Job Description
The Center for AI Safety is a research and field-building nonprofit located in San Francisco. As a research scientist, you will pursue various research projects in AI safety and collaborate with internal and external researchers. You will set research directions and strategies to make AI systems safer, more aligned, and more robust.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in computer science, machine learning, or a related field
- 5+ years of related research experience
- Familiarity with relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g., pytorch and huggingface)
- Experience launching and training distributed ML jobs
- Ability to communicate clearly and promptly with teammates
- Co-authorship of an NLP or RL paper in a top conference
