Job Description
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 to support students in Grades 1-5 in a Special Education program. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably an associate degree or higher in education or a related field. The role requires experience working with children, particularly those with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional behavioral disorders.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study
- Paraprofessional, paraeducator, education assistant, or similar credential
- Certification in company-approved crisis management training
- Prior experience in instruction, guidance, and support to children
- Ability to work with children with learning disabilities, autism, and emotional behavioral disorders
