Instructional Aide 1:1

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide 1:1 to join their Special Education team and provide direct support to students in a Middle School setting. The ideal candidate will have patience, empathy, and a positive attitude, with experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, and emotional behavioral disorders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test
• Associate degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study preferred
• Licensed currently or in the process of obtaining a paraprofessional, paraeducator, education assistant or similar credential preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company-approved crisis management training
