Job Description
ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking an Instructional Aide to join their Special Education team. The role involves providing personalized support, supervision, and guidance to students in Grades K-8, implementing individualized instruction and behavioral interventions, and collaborating with classroom educators to cultivate a supportive learning environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with passage of basic skills test
- Associates degree or higher in education or a closely related field of study
- Completed a minimum of 60-hour college credit
- Successful completion of the Praxis Paraprofessional test
- Ability to obtain and maintain certification in company approved crisis management training
- Prior experience working with children, preferably in an alternative, special education and/or behavioral health program setting
