Job Description
This part-time Varsity Football Assistant Coach position involves developing and implementing effective coaching programs for head coaches, student-athletes, parents, and administration. The role emphasizes coaching development, practice planning, team supervision, and upholding school policies. Assistant Coaches will serve as a role model for moral and physical behavior.
Requirements
- Be knowledgeable of the contents of the Charles County Public Schools Extra-Curricular Handbook.
- Certify as a professional educator (13A.12.01) and possess a MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification.
- Completed two years of successful coaching experience as an emergency coach.
- Certified as an emergency coach under COMAR 13A.12.01.
- Possess a Maryland Certificate.
