This part-time Thomas Stone High School Assistant Girls Flag Football Coach position requires a candidate with an education-based athletics background. The role involves developing coaching plans, supervising practices, and ensuring adherence to school policies and safety protocols. The candidate should be knowledgeable about Charles County Public Schools' Extra-Curricular Handbook and possess the required certification under COMAR 13A.12.01. Requirements
- Teachers or certificated professional educators employed by the local Board of Education
- Persons certifiable as professional educators by the State Department of Education according to 13A.12.01
- Credentialed coaches who meet the following requirement: Are eligible to hold a Maryland certificate under COMAR 13A.12.01.
- Possess a MPSSAA/MSDE Coaching Certification
- Completed two years of successful coaching as an emergency coach.
- Spent the previous one year as a successful emergency coach at the school of hire in the position of hire.
